Nice training mate and I'm with DV, it's not really a bench session unless you've at least tried to expose your groin.

Smaller shorts is what you need ........not for me its for the others honestly.

How you feeling on trt? I have started running some DIM along side it comes recommended ,only a few days into it so we will see if it makes a difference been a bit bloated lately and mood has dropped so could be estrogen creeping up.DIM is supposed to balance this and be better than running a AI

Solid and consistent work mate.

I don't miss having a cramped gym. Did it for long enough though... certainly doable!

I knew everyone would be talking about my crotch lol. Even my Mrs said last night that my latest IG post was a bit too close up. I said, 'It's only my bulge! It's not like you can see up my shorts!'

Anyway, I've decided that I'm moving the gym back to its original position, this weekend hopefully. It's too narrow, and is doing my head in already. At least I tried. My next house will have a double garage that's for sure, or with a garden big enough to build a proper gym! I can dream lol.

So far TRT feels good, SubQ is easy and no PIP issues still. I need to do bloods soon though just to confirm my levels, waiting to get paid first.
I read in your journal about the DIM, I had never heard of it before, but looks interesting. Bit more reading up required before I try it, but if I ever feel like somethings not quite right or my bloods tell me something then I might give it a try. It's on my Amazon wishlist for now.

Wednesday 15/05/19

Bench
72.5 x 10
82.5 x 8
87.5 x 6
60 x 20

Bent Over Rows
75 x 4x8

Standing BB Calf Raises
150 x 4x8

Pull Ups (shoulder width grip)
BW x 4x8

Overhead Tricep Extensions
25 x 4x8

Bench moved super smooth, really happy with reps. I didn't get myself too focused on the PL setup, just got myself stable, heels into the floor, and kept reps steady. I didn't time tempo or anything like that but each one was controlled.

Decided to do BOR instead of Pendlays this time round. I tweaked a muscle in my lower back last week, and although it wasn't anything serious, it was uncomfortable for a couple of days. All fine now, but I'm pretty sure it was from the Pendlays so I swapped them this time.

I have just got the hang of sub q and now no issues whatsoever, good to hear trt is going well mate

DIM all I can say is I am having a few headaches and feel like cr@p supposedly that's a sign my estrogen is getting brought down, the bloating and crazy appetite have calmed down so its doing something will keep logging any changes but so far so good.....it does make your p1ss look like tea though lol

Looks fine, mate, I wouldn't worry about counting your tempo, just be a bit more tempo conscious

Friday 17/05/19

Deadlifts
147.5 x 5
157.5 x 4
167.5 x 3
177.5 x 2

Squat Clusters
90kg doubles, 30s intervals, 10 mins total = 40 total reps.

BB Shrugs
130 x 4x8

Wasn't really feeling it on Friday, got my main lifts done but gave the accessories a miss (only dips and biceps). Deadlifts moved ok, and squats also felt like they moved well, but I didn't have much energy after that and it was getting late. Gym layout was pissing me off as it just feels like its taking me longer to change plates etc... Crappy excuse but it is what it is lol.

Saturday 18/05/19

bar x 20
52.5 x 10
60 x 8
65 x 6
45 x 15

Romanian Deadlift
80 x 4x8

Seated Calf Raise (machine)
160 x 12, 10, 8, 6 (3 second pause at top)
120 x 20 (no pause)
80 x 20 (no pause)

Single Arm Lever Row
42.5 x 4x8

Feeling much better this time. Got everything done with time to spare, used that spare time to have a very brief try of the battle ropes; 30 seconds of alternate arms, 30s of double arms, then 30s of sledge hammer into tyre. I only did the one set of each, with no rest between switches. Very humbling, it killed me off lol. The pump after it was unreal, not felt a pump like it. Gonna do it more though, think I'll add it into my Thursday cardio day as its much more fun than the treadmill, and it feels like you've actually done something.

Tuesday 21/05/19

Squats
70 x 2x5
105 x 10
120 x 8
127.5 x 6
87.5 x 18

Deadlift Clusters
120kg singles, 30s intervals, 10 mins total = 20 total reps

CG Bench
70 x 4x8

DB Bench
37 x 4x8

Front Plate Raises
15 x 4x8

Squats moving really nicely at the moment, form feeling solid, the high rep work seems to be paying off with these.

DB Bench I didn't think I'd manage the last 2 sets, the final reps on all 4 sets were grinders, with the very last rep being a close fail, surprised myself in the end and got it.

Gym has been moved back to its original layout. Treated myself to some new carpet that I had stored in the shed from ages ago which I forgot about, feels loads better lol. It will do for now, plan will be to eventually build a proper platform for my rack with some plywood and rubber matting and that will finish it off nicely.

Hitting some good sessions mate and looks like you're adjusting to the reps.

How did you find the sledgehammer swings?  It's a really great movement.

I got some horse matts off ebay fro dirt cheap.  The problem was when the arrived the absolutely reeked of horse p!ss.  A good wash and air out and they were fine but I keep them in the garage which is removed from the house.

The sledge swings were a lot harder than I thought, I used to occasionally swing a big sledge at work when trying to undo 3" diameter bolts which were seized up, so I thought I would have the technique nailed, but I was clearly out of practice lol. Plus doing them after the battle ropes was bound to make it harder.

I did read on here about horse matts being cheaper, good call. Never thought about the smell though, our garage is part of the house so the Mrs wouldn't be happy if they stunk it out.

Providing you wash them good and proper when they arrive it won't be a problem.  They were just quite strong when they arrived.  Mind you I've sensitive to ammonia so maybe my perception is off.
