It does remind me of the gym set up I had in the annexe when I was 16 listening to my Rocky montage tape on my 3D boom box

Good effort regardless mate.  It would have been easy to walk away because the equipment was crap but you still good stuff done. It's worth getting some bands and keeping them with you, they will give you more options in a pinch.

Good effort regardless mate.  It would have been easy to walk away because the equipment was crap but you still good stuff done. It's worth getting some bands and keeping them with you, they will give you more options in a pinch.

 
I've got some but forgot to bring, Doh! I thought about it today in the gym, as well as forgetting my fatgripz, as they can make the lighter dumbells feel totally different.

Yes it did do the job I guess, better than nothing. It does annoy me though when a rack is so cheap these days and even the smallest gym could fit one in, which in effect would make any small hotel gym fully equipped.
They barely had anough plates though, probably about 140kg tops, mostly 10's and 5's. Biggest plates were 15's.

How are you finding your cycle so far?

 
Enjoying it now mate. I'm not noticing any big difference strength wise when in the gym but I do think its having an effect on my appearance now, I seem to be looking better in the mirror, muscles appear fuller and my belly is still flat despite getting back up the 88kg.
My Mrs even said I was looking good the other day and that I seem to be holding myself well, although she's still not ripping my clothes off as soon as she sees me so it can't be that good.

Quite a good workout today in the end. I couldn't go as heavy as planned (97.5kg x 2x5) with bench as I had no spotter and there was no way I was risking it tbh. So my heavy bench session will now also be done on fridays workout, hopefully I will still be able to manage them after the heavy squat session.
 
Everything else was nice and steady, I did a few more sets of curls than usual because there was a girl on the running machine who did have a very nice bum to look at. Perks of working away I suppose.

Hotel gyms usually suck so you did quite well there with what you had available mate.

DV - I'm used to just being on my own in a garage so I rarely get the chance to ogle at gym bunnies!
 
Rad - I think its helping somewhat, I have been a bit better lately but things have settled down a bit work wise over the last week as well. I'm enjoying the cycle though.

Friday 07/12/18 - Week 5
 
As you know I couldn't do my heavy squats or bench on tuesday/wednesday due to the crappy hotel gym, so moved them both to todays sesh.
 
Squats
70 x 5
110 x 5
130 x 6x6
 
Bench
20 x 20
50 x 5
80 x 5
97.5 x 2x5
 
Ooooooosh! Hit the 6x6! Gotta admit though it was tough but I did it pretty much trouble free in the end. Fatigue had started to set in on the fourth set, and the final set had a few reps that probably weren't quite to depth, but close enough for me. Well happy with this, now the 6x6 is done I can start increasing the weight.
 
Also hit my target reps on bench press which suprised me to be honest, I thought I would be spent after the squats but they moved well in the end.

Extra reps are better with more stimuli.



They are hit and miss, I've stayed in a hotel once with work which had an amazing gym, loads of equipment and pool as well. It was close to the site I've just been to, we tried to book it again this time but they were having none of it as it was too expensive lol.

Not quite back in order yet I'm afraid but things have eased off a bit. My cars still only worth scrap value atm but luckily my dads given me his so I'm not carless and not stressing about how to get around. Work has been a bit more stimulating the last couple of weeks which has made things a bit easier tough so I'm hopefully on the right track.
 
Yes I will be continuing to cruise on TRT doses after this blast. The one thing I'm a bit concerned about is I'm yet to feel anything from this blast training wise. I don't feel any stronger yet. I was hoping that by week 5 the strength increase would have fully kicked in. I am a lot hornier than usual so that along with my shoulders and traps looking a bit more pumped make me still think its not duff gear though. I wasn't expecting to feel like superman or anything but right now I feel similar to what I did last strength cycle which was natty.
 
It could be just my mind playing tricks with me though.

Cheers mate. Yes the stands were awful for squats, I'm confident they would have been ok with 130kg but they were so wobbly I really didn't not want to risk it. The bar was only 6ft as well so that meant the stands had to be quite close together, making the walkout even more dodgy. They served a purpose with bench though, although with no spotter it wasn't worth going to max effort. Plus I would have lost massive points with the only gym bunnie worth looking at if I did get pinned down lol.
 
Yeh the 6x6 is brutal, with Russian Masters you build up the first 5 weeks from 6x2 to 6x6, then after that the reps come down but the weight goes up, hopefully gearing you up a for a new pb in week 10.
