Clusters! You could set a stop watch and do a Single every 30 Seconds .. I’d say about 120kg for you.( between 50 and 60%

Do that solidly for 20-25 minutes and you’ve done 40-50 reps!

Clusters! You could set a stop watch and do a Single every 30 Seconds .. I’d say about 120kg for you.( between 50 and 60%

Do that solidly for 20-25 minutes and you’ve done 40-50 reps!

 
Sounds like a plan. Will get it programmed in. I've just finished my 8 week strength cycle, so I am going to do 6-8 weeks based around hypertrophy again, would it be ok to do these cluster sets alongside that?

Thanks mate. It crept up at the start but then stayed around 88-89kg. I've never gone over 90kg tbh, but then again I'm not sure if I want to really, I think I would look a bit too fat if I went over 90kg, with my current muscle mass anyway.

Back on TRT/cruise this week, first jab will be this Thursday, 100mg like previous cruise but will be trying SubQ. Gonna get bloods done and then adjust from there.

Thank you. This years goals are a 5 plate deadlift, and a 4 plate squat for sure. 3 plate bench and 2 plate OHP would be nice but probably a longer term goal.
 
Need to sign up to a fed as well so I can get booked on a PL meet ready for next year, would like to try a meet of some sort this year if I can.

Had the last couple of training days off altogether as I was out on my rave adventures. They were only supposed to be deloads anyway so nothing missed really. Be back on it tonight but won't be anything too heavy, gonna push for some reps and do another hypertrophy block.
 
Printworks was amazing, great club and awesome crowd, shame it finished so early though, the venue must have had sound restrictions on it because 2am was lights on. Nowhere else to go really at that time either in the area we were staying in London (Shoreditch), couple of bars/clubs were open but they weren't our scene and we would have been a bit out of place so decided to call it a night. Felt fresh though the next morning though so all good. 
 
Had some great feedback on the way home though I must say lol. We were hanging around with some girls at the club, nothing happened we were just having a good laugh as you do and enjoying the music (we are all married/in relationships), but one of them got one of my mates numbers, and he got a text the next day saying that one of the girls wanted the lad 'with the muscles' number. It made my day, in fact my entire weekend, I've never been referred to as muscly before so it means all this work is paying off lmao.

You're assuming she meant you then?
 
Good stuff mate little bumps like that are always nice. Also I prefer taking days off during a deload anyway.... Im convinced it helps those little niggles.

You’re doing these for form drilling, but with the low rest time and huge number of reps they will be perfect for a hypertrophy phase! They’re quite good for pressing too ( but at about 80%).. lactic acid build up is unreal.

Of course she meant me! It helps that none of my mates really train, but I’m still taking the compliment lol. I also had one of my mates on my shoulders at one point, just to show off the gainz. Squats paying off lol.

Yes, I have become one of those d1ckheads, and I don’t care. I’ve earnt this. Let me be happy for once!

Cheers Animal. This next 2 weeks training will be unplanned as such as I’m got holidays coming up, but will still have a play with clusters (starting tonight) and then program them in properly after 2 weeks.

Only once a week, every Thursday. I don't see the point in doing jab cruises twice a week as levels are only kept at natural levels, and the half life of what I'm using is over a week anyway. Also the research says that SubQ is slower release anyway due to being injected into the fat. 
 
My last cruise was 100mg once a week, and my T levels came back at 30nmol, so higher than natural range. So I've just decided that this time I will be doing 80mg per week instead, will check levels in about 4-6 weeks time and adjust from there if needed.

Squats
70 x 3x5
 
90 x 40x1 (30s clusters for singles, 20mins total)
 
Bench Press
bar x 20
50 x 10
70 x 12, 12
90 x 10, 8, 6
 
EZ Curls
37.5 x 20, 16, 12, 8, 4
 
Gave the clusters a bash, such fun, played it a bit safe with 90kg as didn't want to completely ruin myself, but it was the ideal weight in the end, worked out at around 52% of 1RM. Will be able to go closer to 60% next time.
 
Bench moved well, pushed myself on each heavy set, the final rep of each set was definitely my last.
 
As mentioned previously there will be no plan set in stone this week and next, as I'm off camping next week so will be easier to hit a proper plan from then. It will be hypertrophy based though, with clusters thrown in good measure.

When was the last time you had a blood test DV?

No dig or anything, just wondering if you knew what your T levels were at ~75mg every 8-10 days. You must have based it off something even if it your last blood test was several years ago.
