What Macros you using, yeah. for me, using his macros it would be:

    Protein: 135g
    Carbs: 45g
    Fats: 120g

    Therefore, each meal:

    Protein: 34g
    Carbs: 12g
    Fats: 30g

I thought this fat would be too high? im looking to start my cut soon so i am wanted everything ready so i dont have to do all this when im about to start!

what do you think of thos macros for me?

    stats:
    82kg
    6ft 1

    Interesting read

Problem with T nation that theres sooooo many plans on there to follow and most come with good results but obviously dependant on the person.

Good luck with it , would be interested too see how you get on.

It looks like another t-nation"do our diet but use our supps" strategy.I'm not saying it wont work but its a blatant plug on the supps

yep same, think the protein is way too low esp for a cut! and fat is very high and you wont be in full keto

That's exactly what I thought reading it!

It's nothing revolutionary tbh, it's what we all sort of do anyway isn't it?!  But I always enjoy reading those articles, I find them motivating and it always gives me new ideas or makes me think about something I can change slightly next meal time!

    Unaffiliated.

tbh t-nation is bad in terms of supp pluggin but the whole of america is just as bad, everythings driven by ads sayin "600% more testosterone than any other drug and legal! so purchase today for the low price of only $49.99 per day!"

i listen to american radio and and watch tv streams and its awful!

In terms of the low protein thing there is an argument that as long as cals are high enough overall then protein doesn't need to be that high and that we are all conditioned to think it needs to be by industry propoganda driven by the protein supp industry who fund most magazines and articles.....

I'm really struggling to budge from my current weight now (92kg) and have been stuck here for around 2-3 weeks now, I'm coming towards of my cut soon (3 weeks) so may well follow this plan for a month to see if I can go from 16% BF to around 12-13%...

the 1.5 per lb of bw is usually for lean body mass, tbh i go on 1-1.5g per lb of overall bw, protein can be low but i dont recommend it goin below 1g per lb or overall bw esp when you get rather lean because of the muscle sparing function

i personally have my protein around this mark because it ties in with my meals and protein helps keep you fuller for longer without adding the calories from fat high foods which help you stay really full

By Berardi's own admission it's an extreme diet run for a very limited timen very infrequent, the low protein is relative, it's still higher than the norm and the body can recycle junk proteins etc in a process called autophagy, the body is not going to dump a ton of muscle, it will become more efficient at using what it has - it would do some people well to go hungry once in a while and reduce their protein intake.
