Hair transplant in Turkey ?

Never really bothered me losing my hair, well maybe just a little. My ears pricked up yesterday in work when I heard a guy is travelling over to Turkey next week for an hair transplant costing £2500. I mentioned it on watsapp, turns out my mates uncle and nephew went over last year and had it done, again around £2500, the nephew was pretty bald, now looks good (apparently).

This off the net.
The cost of the transplant will vary based on how much hair is going to be transplanted, and an average cost for the procedure is£4000 to £15000. The average hair transplant in Turkey, on the other hand, costs an average of £1800 to £3400.

Not too sure whether I would bother bother yet, I said to the misses "would you still fancy me with hair"?, she replied "I don't know", and started laughing...…….lol

Anyways, as there as been a number of threads about guys moaning about hair loss, thought id add this, in case you don't know.

Be good to hear any thoughts.

If it makes you happier and you’re not getting into debt etc go for it, I’d probably not go to Turkey though personally speaking.

My best mate had this done and in Turkey... He said though it was one of the most painful and worst experiences of his life.

Don't you have to have a "top up" every so often with hair transplants?

To be honest mate the only person who will care about your lack of hair is you.  No one else will give a ****.

My own solution costs me £11 from Tesco's about once a year.

I do a lot of push ups and sit ups. And I drink plenty of milk.

Slightly concerned about Turkey, I can see the headlines. "TERRORISTS TARGET A BUNCH OF BALD WESTERNERS"

I believe you are right about "top ups", that thought puts me off

Your probably right, as im not too bothered about being bald. Being bald does not make me unhappy, I just heard about the pricing yesterday and became a little curious as it sounds pretty cheap.

Im starting to this quite aggressively on top which looking at my old man leads me to believe my mother had an affair but thats another story. A buddy of mine had a hair transplant done in London at a pucker expensive clinic and I saw him the day after he was very and I mean very sore to the point he had one pint of beer and his head/pores started bleeding it looked brutal. Right there and then put me off doing the same.

What I would say with all cosmetic stuff outside of the UK is make sure you have a good support network in place if it foes wrong my ex had her tits and teeth done in bulgaria and then had to fly back a couple of times to get it sorted something you dont want to do when your in pain. However the results in the end were excellent and at a fraction of the cost so do your research well and have absolute faith in their reputation. 9/10 if you use common sense you ill be ok but theres always a chance no matter where you get it done.

Baldy here! Going bald is something you just get over after a while. The sooner you buzz it off and get used to it the better. Best cure is to buzz it, grow some facial hair and get hench. I'd argue that's a sexier look anyway (no homo!).

If you go down the road of transplants you just prolong the pain and insecurity forever IMO.
