Ham, good for you?

Simple one guys, some people have said said it isnt "great" and others have said the oposite.

I'm firstly meaning like the packets you can buy in supermarkets, not the joints.

The tasty delis tuff that in my head im like "i wonder is this particually good for me" as im enjoying it :)  I'm thinking its probably fair amount of protein and other good stuff, but maybe the salt/fat (saturated) contents are pretty high too to go along with it as an educated guess:)

Just want to get a few opinions so i can help understand it a little better:)

Do you ever read the nutritional labels on the back of a food packets?

Ham is fine, however there is a huge quality scale when it comes to it... Some is heavily processed, reformed and full of water, where as some is simply cooked and cut from the joint.

All in all, I always opt for the better quality ham and enjoy it, but yes, ham is fine.
