Has this diet been approved by the doc's? Excess weight may hamper or affect a few things.

gemma, has she been checked to see why she finds it hard to put on weight (simply reason could be hyperactive thyroid)

I also think that asthma medication can cause weight loss as it is often used by female BBs (clenbuterol), however I'm no expert in this so could be wrong

    Hiya Kitty,

Thanks for the reply, she has had her Thyroid checked and everything is fine, One of the inhalers she uses is called Salbutamol, would that have the same effect do you think? If so what could she eat to stop the weight loss ?

    Thanks

Salbutamol can be used I believe but it has to be mega doses. I only know this because it is what I use for my asthma and when I first started on it and told hubbie that it is used for weight loss by some BBs (it would mean using the whole inhaler in a day), he nagged me everytime I used it....twice per day

All I can suggest to you is make sure she's getting sufficient calories but not from junk food as that could cause other problems. Plenty carbs (sweet potato, potatoes, bread, rice. pasta, oats), protein and good oils (and not forgetting good old veggies). However, as I'm sure it's not blubber she wants to put on maybe try getting her down the gym with you and get her bulking

Has she been tested for parasites?

    Mornin Kitty & Thanks,

She is on very high does of inhalers that is just one of the brands shes on, I know one of the others shes on is a steriod based one, can find out the name if that helps, Yes she been checked for everything and apart from the Astma shes in good health,

Unless they start doin Bingo in my Gym, I can t see my Mum setting foot in it
