Help from a copper?

If a police officer says they will let you of does that really mean they will let you of? Or can they still charge you?

Lol nah one thing im not is a grass. Wouldnt wish having to deal with the police on anyone. Police said something about unsafe load or invalidating insurance by having to many people in the car.

For driving offences they have 14 days to give you notice of intent to prosicute. This can either be by letter, if you get caught by a camera or it could be in person. If you got pulled they would have to tell you there and then if they intend to prosocute you and that would be taken as notice of intent, not sure if they can go back on this, but if its been 14days you're in the clear.

    P.S
They would normally write you out the ticket there and then and give it to you. If you were going to get done for it.
