Help me find my document! :(

I've just spent the best part of an hour typing up some work...now I dont know were it is saved! :(

I opened the document from my email (into excel) and proceeded to edit. When i had finished I just clicked 'save as'. But where the hell would it have saved?? It aint in my documents and i've ran a search with no luck!

Help anyone??

    Open up excel again and proceed to save as and see what location it would save a page too. Your other document u saved will probably be there

    Try looking in your most recent documents on the Start Menu.

    mine is here;

    C:\Documents and Settings\John\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

    if you can't see anything like this, you need to UNHIDE your hidden folders

    Just re-save the file as an easily-remembered name in the folder called "My Documents". Then you'll be able to find it easily.
