RE: Help on weightloss
The reason for the large amount of reps was because of a program that i thought i'd follow from Muscle & Fitness.
After finishing the 1st week i had very stiff muscles, they were certainly well broken down.
I think for this week i'm going to do less sets and less reps.
Set 1 very heavy 6 reps
Set 2 heavy 10 reps (if i hit 11 or 12 up the weight next time)
Set 3 medium 20 reps to really pump the muscles. This may also be a drop set with a total of 20 reps starting from the weight in set 1 depending on how may reps i do in set 2.
This is for fat-loss so my rests are between 30 - 45 seconds and the whole session is as intense as i can make it so that i can really get my metabolism motoring and work my muscles hard.
Does this sound better? After last week i can definately say it was too excessive.
