Help with gynecomastia

hi guys,

I have gynecomastia not through the use of steroids, but it has been with me since puberty. I'm now 23 and looking for ways to get rid of it other than surgery. Does anyone know if its worth trying medication like nolvadex?

I'd really appreciate any info I can get.

Cheers

It's tissue mate. Been to a specialist and he said ive defo got it. They're not huge, just pointy, puffy nips.

    you can try ancillaries mate

Im running a combo of meds soon to combat mine but tbh i cant recommend them to you as it would be morally wrong of me to do so

You need blood work done when on these meds too, plus need to cut out drinking, bad diet etc. otherwise youre asking for health trouble

do you weight train at the moment?

Yeah i am training at the mo. Been trying to bulk up to try and cover it up tbh. Did you go to a doctor then?

I went to my GP first and he just rubbished it. I dont think he really knew much about gyno though. But like I said above i've been to see a specialist as well as reading up on it for a very long time so I know I defo have it.

What exactly are you going to be taking if you don't mind me asking? And have they been recommended by someone or are just experimenting?

I would look into compression tops to hide it if its that bad, also bulking conventional style isnt the best way as you can only gain so much lean tissue throughout the year, the rest will generally be fat

As for my meds, it was recommended to me, but not without caveats

its a combo of Letrozole, Raloxifene (second gen serm proven to be better than nolva at pubertal gyno in a few studies), Cabergoline and a transdermal DHT

i cant say dosages or time because theyre very strong powerful meds and not something i would feel comfortable recommending to anyone

Transdermal dht- is that pharma or homebrewed? I'm very interested in it to reduce my gyno- which definitely has some tissue in it- ahead of the summer. neither epistane nor nolva has worked for me, although the best med i've used so far is 6-bromo, the ai- not sure how it worked but it definitely did. just out of interest how effective has the regime been?

why would you want to homebrew a transdermal epi? why not just get the unmethylated compound in the first place?

as for my dose of DHT, as i said i dont want to go into details as there will be newbies reading this and its irresponsible for me to go into details

You will get more experienced input in the TAOS (Testosterone & Other Steroids) forum mate, as this often crops up in there & there are a few regulars who have successfully got rid of or reduced long standing gyno through self prescribing various meds such as Nolva & others.

If needs be, you will also get better advice on where to go for private surgery as again a few regulars in there have done this.

You will likely be looking at either a comparitevely high dose of a combination of meds for a relatively short period, or low-medium doses of possibly one for quite soem time (trials usig Nolva etc to rid pre existign gyno have run for over a year before to get a result) so it is something that does need a bit of research on your behalf into possible sides etc.

Best thing to do is to post again in the TAOS forum mate. Good luck.

    I'm 20 and I think I have a bit of this too.

Is there anything that can be perscribed by the doc? I don't fancy the 'self-perscription' route! lol.

I used to have hard lumps under my nipples, but these have now gone and are just slightly puffy now.

    Any ideas?
