Help/advice needed please

Hi

I have been training for 4 years now. I started at 31 and have always trained clean. I follow various programs, mainly found on this site, changing my program every 12 weeks or so taking a week break between routines. I kind of train heavy as possible usually 8-10 reps, and eat a controlled carb, but not super-low carb, diet as I don't bulk/cut I just try to gain lean all the time as I am not trying to compete just want to get stronger and look a bit better.

I have noticed an injury/phenomenon recently in my chest. I am getting weker and weaker on my right side (right handed so usually my stronger side). I don't think it's overtraining but then again I don't think anyone that overtrains ever does. It doesn't feel like fatigue and there is zero pain it just feels like there is absolutely nothing there. If I flex my pecs after training the left is quite pumped and hard and the right side feels all mushy and soft. It fails in a specific way too, I will get the DB's up then on the right side during the negative part of the rep it just drops like someone turns the power off. On chest day I normally do BB incline then DB incline before moving onto BB flat bench followed by flat DB press, this is where it usually happens. I start with inclines as in the past I suffered from slight moobs so I try to concetrate on the upper portion of the chest. I normally finish with decline flyes but last two sessions aborted them due to this problem, as I have no spotter I could visualise dropping the DB's in my face.

I tried to include as much relevant info as possible so that explains the painfully long OP. Thanks for reading and any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi mate, was there a specific time when this problem occured? for intance after a particularly heavy session or when you were doing something different? Or is it something that has gradually worsened over time?
