Helping friend with routine

My friend is just starting out he wants to bulk. Thought I'd check with you guys to see what you all think so far.
We've only done back/bis but i'll edit the post accordingly.


Each exercise is 3 x 10-12

One Arm DB Row
Lat Pulldown
Standing BB curls
BB Curls 21s

I know its retarded but at our university gym they don't allow deadlifts, stupidest sh1t I've ever heard.

What do you think of this routine I've given so far

    Personally i think you should get a different gym but if thats not an option then

    BB rows instead of DB rows 5x6
    Chins instead of pulldowns 5x6
    Barbell curls ok 3x6
    Hammer curls not 21's2x6
    do hypers last as you need our lower back for the curls etc.

    Keep the reps low as sld says and yeah, if you can go to another gym. I'm assuming they allow the other big ones (bench press, squats etc). Do they allow clean and jerk?
