Following on and agreeing with Doink's comment on running it with gear, I have been running 2iu of pharmeceutical GH with 50mg of testogel, and 6iu of insulin around my training meal for the last 3 months, and not getting the result I expected.
My plan was to use it for wellness and weight loss, as I'm 42 years old. Didn't plan on running any heavy gear with it, as I have slammed it in the past, but not since competing back in 2004.
Turns out that I started out at 14st 10ib at the beginning of Jan, and this week I was 15st 11ib. Work that out! OK, I didn't adjust my food to diet levels, as I do like my grub, and thought the GH would do the weight loss magic. I would say that my bodyfat composition has not changed at all, but I am definately fuller, a bit stronger with no niggling injuries.
I don't think that the 6iu of insulin is preventing the fat loss, as I take it at 6.30am around a clean meal of porridge, 1 scoop of build & recover + 1 scoop of whey straight after training.
I am strongly considering adding some deca and dianabol at a low dose this month to see how that pans out.
Bottom line: my personal experience so far of using GH (pharma grade) at 2iu per day, has not given me any fat loss so far. However, I plan to continue for many, many more months...
