Hi there everyone!
I'm here as a total beginner and looking first of all to see if what I want to achieve is possible at all. I'll start by explaining my situation first. Unfortunately, I am in a sad state of affairs
I am 27 years old and have a wonderful partner and 2 year old son. Unfortunately, I have always been a big lad and things now are completely out of control. I now weigh over 27 stone and have a range of weight related health problems, including sleep apneoa, type 2 diabetes, cellulites infection damage and an arthritic right knee (I know, it's disgraceful for a guy my age!).
I am looking to lose all my excess weight and build muscle. Here's the catch. As well as my health problems to contend with, I am on a mega tight budget. I am looking to spend around £20-25 a week on food, I can't afford a gym membership but I do have an exercise bike and a small pair of dumbbells. I also have a mountain bike. And to add to the mix, my partner and I are due to get married on 1st October, so I'd like to at least lose a little weight before then.
So, is what I want to do achievable with the constraints I have? If so, can anyone give me any suggestions at all? I'd love to be able to 'buddy' up as it were, as I often find my self completely demoralised due to my problems, which leads to being depressed, and ultimately losing my battle against the bulge.
