Hi Condor, I live North of Inverness. Are you going to be staying in Fife? When are you moving there?

North of Inverness......man the real wilderness!!!!! i've spent abit of time in the northern highlands, Ullapool, durness Betty hill etc....

Hopefully very soon i'm over in Fife this weekend scoping out the area, accomodation etc....best areas too live, having a look at Glenrothes,Dumfermline,Kircaldy and St Andrews and i'm going to be checking out to see if there are any decent kinda training facilities as i need something.

I heard it's supposed to very nice in Fife but i can't remember........i liked Inverness, but you all speak a foreign language that far up.

Hey loz, I picked up a flyer on my windscreen last year from these guys, interesting stuff - did you go to some games last year?
Don't know about the strongman in Burton-upon-trent, but perhaps you should consider visiting the Celtic Challenge Strongman at the Stranraer & Wigtownshire Highland Gathering which is being organised by the great (and mad) Hamish Davidson...
    visit
    http://mysite.freeserve.com/lochnessgathering/index.html
and click on the stranraer Games, most of these events have strongman contests so you may want to consider visiting more than one???

    Hey condor,
Don't blame you bro, i'm not that keen on glenrothes either!, dunfermline is where i lived for 2 years, i worked in the dockyard.I'm now in falkirk.
If you're going to inverness and run into caberman, you'll need overalls if you get a lift in his car!.
Are you going to be staying in inverness for long? If you are ,get in touch with caberman for some training,he's a really good guy,i've known him for years,we used to go to the same gym when he lived in gala.
If you're intrested in strongman, caberman will put you in touch with the legendary Hamish Davidson, hamish has strongman at a few of his games, loch ness included i think, not sure though.
