How about this routine?

Chest/shoulder/tris

DB Press 3x6
DB Incline Fly 3x8
DB Incline Press 3x8

Bent-over lateral raise 3x10
Front Raise 1x15 (triple drop set)

Close-grip Press 3x8
Cable Pulldown 3x8

I'm still putting together the rest of the routine

If you are doing a push/pull style split I would probably drop one of the chest moves, replace both shoulder raises with military press and finish with close grip press.....

You are basically performing exercises which essentially work all the same muscles so you can limit the amount of actual exercises done.... I think if you tried otherwise with the required intensity you wouldn't finish the session.

What are your goals? If you are after general physical fitness or are in a severe cutting mode, then I supose your routine looks o.k. If you're trying to add mass and/or get stronger, then you have too many exercises, too many sets, and too many reps. I think if most people did the routine you are showing, their triceps would actually shrink from overwork. You're doing 12 sets for those poor triceps!

FNY: I'm interested why you would consider it OK if in a 'severe cutting mode'..... I understand the logic on the general fitness bit etc, just wondering where you're coming from with that bit tho as surely when cutting overtraining is potentially at greater risk IMO.

In my experience, the higher the rep range, the more exercises you can do, the more sets you can do, and the less time you need between sets. I wouldn't be that concerned about overtraining given that he'd be doing reps between 8 and 15. As long as he can complete the routine in under an hour, I wouldn't worry, as long as he's training no more than 3 days a week. If he's thinking about training 4 or 5 days a week, then yes, I'd be concerned.

I'm training 3 times a week. Why can't anything in BB be definitive
    :-/

I'm trying to get stronger, but mostly after general fitness. What should I drop so you guys don't think I am over training?

I think i'm gunna drop the cable pulldowns. I'm taking your suggestion DV, but I think i'm going to keep the front raises (you think that's okay?).

What other mods do you guys suggest?

    DB Press 3x6
    DB Incline Fly 3x8
    DB Incline Press 3x8
    Military Press 3 x 8
    Close-grip Press 3x8
Front Raise 1x15 (triple drop set)

I would lose the Incline fly and the front raise, the effectiveness of both is questionable in my opinion. Infact front raises rank pretty highly on my 'List of pointless exercises'.

Why I even posted a routine for comments is beyond me. lol

Why would you question the effectiveness of flies? Arnie did them in pumping iron! I'm lost.
