How deep to go with a military press?

This is my favourite exercise, and I like to load up the bar and get all my core working.  I tend to get shoulder pain if I reset the weight all the way down to my shoulders, even with no weight performing the move all the way down makes my shoulders click.  So I usually bring it down to eye level only.   If I could do a full re with no clicking then I would go for it.

More stretching and warm up. This click you are talking about is the rotaror cuff and will short term end in bursitis and long term a tear in the cuff. And going to eye level is fine for the shoulder workout anything lower than that is getting back into upper chest. Also take some weight off the bar and do slower reps. It's not a competition.

What kind of stretches?  I've done stretching before and never really felt much difference
