How do I get rolling abs?

I have been training for a number of years now...first loosing lots of fat, then bulking and cutting phases...I am bulking at the moment, trying to pack on more muscle to breach the gap between the pecs.

I know you can not change muscle shape, that this is down to genetics. When you build you just increase the size of the muscles. Is there a way I can train to develop rolling abs, for when I cut again? At the moment I am performings lots of kneeling crunches and seated crunches after my chest and back workouts. I have been trying to crunch with more weight at a slower pace

Squeezing on contractions at all times!

What about hanging straight leg raises with weight between your feet. Do yo udo dips for your chest workout?

I do dips now and then. I have tried hanging leg raises but I feel too heavy to continue. It does not appear to be targeting the muscle groups

Hanging leg raises aren't great for abs. You get the feeling they work because they target the hip flexors which originate in your abdominal region. So i've been told. Weighted crunches aren't much cop either. Swiss ball situps are what you need. I didn't have any definition to my abs before i started doing them. Now i do. Well underneath my belly anyway...

yeah i agree about the hanging leg raises..

try to do things that contract your rib cage to your pelvis (like a crunch). these are the best stimulus for ur abs.
