At my best I could do 8. Now I could probably manage 1 or 2.  It's kind of hard when you weigh 110kg.

I suprise myself. I could not do 1...It was amazing how quick you progress. I was adding 1-2 reps per week until it slowed down.

If you do them often you really can progress fast. Its quite amazing lol.

I even do them weighted now...MAdness...a few months back I had to do them assisted now I hang 15kg plate on me and do them wtf...

Iv' always been sh!te them, probably about 3 or 4 chin ups or 10 pull ups depending on the bar (I find some easier)
Great on bodyweight exercises like dips and press ups but Chins is without doubt my worst exercise (im around 16st now)
I remember when I weighed 90kg and I could do 10reps of 100kg lat pulldowns but could only do 2 or 3 chins?????

Around 90kg I can do probs 10-15 chins (underhand grip) and maybe 8-10 pulls. Started doing them a few months back and could only do a couple then

a perfect illustration of why 'free weight' exercises are superior to isolation exercises - they're harder and work more of the body

not sure how many chins I can do at the moment - hold on, I'll go and try...

EDIT: 12 reps @106kg (currently cutting) on my son's chin-up bar

At ~90kg I can probably do about 15, yet I can add 15kg round a belt and still get to 10, peculiar.

I can do 9 chin ups with no swing and with fully extended arms and 10 parallel dips with 10kg added .

I'm not sure of my exact weight but its roughly 14.5 stone.

Have not done the easier underhand for ages - have vague memories of doing over 40 when a lot younger but still about 90kg.

On the wide grip OH - about ten is the limit before technique goes and tendon in right forearm gives out.

If the forearm was tip top I still do not think I'd do much more than 10 atm would just do the ten with less pain! LOL if doing the 'easier' underhand still fail to see me doing much more than ten to be honest.
