How many of you have already wound down for Christmas?

Just wondering how many of you have actually finished for the Christmas holidays already? Also, how many of you are at work and have already given up i.e. see it like games day at school?

Last day in work today.  TBH, not done a thing yesterday nor today other than send a couple of emails.

As for training, I don't usually wind down over Christmas but kind of forced into it this year due to extensor tendonitis, so taking a week off.

packed up work on Friday, no more work thoughts till the 5th of jan. I'm sat around watching to all day which is bliss after 4 months of crazy hours in the office! Going to catch a few movies, go gym and just relax.

Got four hours at work tonight, leaving at 2 a.m.
Everything sorted now with food and presents. Just got to visit mum in care home Xmas Eve and then (following a brilliant idea from @Jack5r ), I'll be hitting the gym for a full body workout tomorrow afternoon . Then it's a night out with friends.

Just the same sh*t pretty much for me, working until tomorrow, off Xmas day and Boxing Day then back in every day until New Year's Day which I'm off for and then back at it Jan 2nd.

Trainings just continued as it would any other week.

    Holiday mode, no such thing.

If you love something let it go,if it comes back to you it's yours,if it doesn't it never was.

I've been able to keep up the workout routine, but the diet is already taking a serious hit. Chocolate is the biggest culprit. After being good for the last six months or so, I've given in for Christmas. I don't feel guilty though, it's good to enjoy yourself every now and again

Finished work yesterday. We only worked the morning then went out to the xmas doo. I stayed in a hotel nearby to avoid having to faff with trains home so nipped in to work to get my car but that's it.

I came off my diet last Thursday and have managed to nuts. I've had 3 social events so needed hangover junk food. I'm still sporadically running and training but just ticking over.

Work finishes at 4pm tomorrow the back in 8am on Monday.  I'm not complaining as worked 10 out of 16 Christmas days in my old job. I knew the craic when I took a job in the health service.

I'm working Christmas Day and Boxing Day. It doesn't bother me. I have no children but to be fair I think that's only an issue if you make it issue as I believe Christmas is a big media farse. I give more respect for birthdays.

Has anyone on here taught their children that Christmas is a con? I'd like to think that I'd teach mine that kind of honesty. I appreciate that it's probably different when you have them though.

Winding down? I'm trying to psyche myself up! Got to cook dinner for 14! Then breakfast on Boxing Day for 11!! I'll chill out when they've all gone!
