I've let myself down this year.

I pride myself on really going all out, everything in sight is consumed over the festive period. However, I just did have the appetite this year!!

Don't get me wrong, I was over 3000cal a day but that's NOTHING on how it's been in the past. Last night I had a classic Turkey and stuffing sandwich because I felt I had to, I wasn't even hungry!!!

Brought back a lot of cold meat and sweet stuff from fam so need to begin to plough through that but at this rate I will still be sieving through it come Feb!!

Xmas day and Boxing Day had a lot of junk but somehow lost weight lol.

But certainly not bodyfat lol.

If you love something let it go,if it comes back to you it's yours,if it doesn't it never was.

I was looking forward to eating, but unless I'm in denial I've hardly had anything!
On xmas day had roast (foster dad made it n it was surprisingly healthy), then had some tart and some cheese in the eve n a handful of Quality St.
Boxing Day just lunch and some choc when I got home.
Feel a bit cheated tbh but there's nowt I fancy!!

It started all too early for me. I dropped my diet plans a week before xmas because social stuff at work started. Due to drinking and hangovers I went junk food mad...... nothing even related to xmas food. 2 trips to McDonald's and a massive pizza was my worst day!

Since the actual xmas food started, xmas eve to today, I've indulged but I bet calories haven't been all that high. Dessert with most meals, bIt of chocolate and the odd beer on an evening, but nothing outrageous.

Loads. In fact I have just eaten a plastic spoon. It broke in my mouth and just as a reflex I crunched it up with my teeth and swallowed it. I didn't even realise it until it was gone. Washed it down with a can of sprite and a kitten.

Eaten everything in sight. Nuts, biscuits, meats stuffed with more meats, vegetables, so much sausage and bacon, various puddings and ice cream... been amazing. Not had any mince pies though, but I plan to correct this tomorrow. Had a reasonably normal day with food intake today, just in a bit of a larger quantity than usual. Back to actual normal monday and training first thing Tues. Need to get back into the swing, t shirt is tighter in all the wrong places now!

Not to many excess calories, but sadly not the 'right' type of calories.

Still loads better than last year, back on the wagon on starting tomorrow.

I don't do a great deal different at Christmas. I have a little more spontaneous beer but now my mates are settling there's not so many pub nights.

I eat a little more chocolate but in all there's not a great deal extra at Christmas.

Just to add to this, I gained 7 pounds in 4 days from the junk. That's dropped a bit now and I'm just 3lbs over my pre-Xmas weight but I look crap even though I've been training.

I don't go back to work til the 5th Jan so as of tomorrow I want to tidy the diet up but still stick to a normal 3 meals a day. All the chocolates I've got are dark stuff so you don't need many of them. One or 2 is enough.

Far too much but my wife buys so much food and expects me to eat it. Then I think, well it's only one greedy, gluttoneous week out of 52 and why not enjoy it?
I only missed two days training and my weight has stabilised so no lasting harm done.

I've been staying with the mother in law over Christmas and she's been on a mission to fatten me up. Apparently I NEED to put on 2 stone :s

I've had 3 days where I just said lets cut loose, but I'm sick of all the Christmas food now. Christmas eve my inner fat kid got the better of me and we embraced in a manly obese manner. The mother in law did a fantastic spread and everyone was stuffed after the main course so nobody touched the puddings... 15 cream stuffed chocolate éclairs later, I felt a little giddy.

Had a good bit of everything but I instinctively start dieting once I feel a little fat gain. My new years cutting has already started
