How much energy do you have on a day to day basis?

I've always struggled with energy levels in the past; admittedly a huge drug habit and lack of exercise didn't help matters much.

These days I have a decent level of energy with the exercise I do and eating reasonably healthy, but I'm still lagging behind some nutcases I know who are like the energizer bunny.

Much, much more than in the days when I scoffed carbs from dawn till dusk.

Carb scoffing is quite the energy killer. After eating a huge bowl of pasta I have often wanted to have a nap.

Just enough to roll into bed at night. About average, I'd say.
It's dependent on getting 9 hours kip though - anything less doesn't work for me, personally.

As a teenager I used to worry about situations where I'd be forced to stand up. I felt knackered just thinking about walking to the bus stop. I did enjoy the endless cereal, toast and Twixes though.

Hmmm I'm not too bad at the moment, but I often feel like simple things are a chore and lack energy and/or motivation for the very simple things.

Like Righty, I really, really need my sleep.

Pretty low at the moment, probably because I have no day to day goal but to find some suitable work.

I would say, however, that having very high/elated levels of energy/hyperactivity can be ALOT worse. Totally freaks people out and they assume you are on reccy's or something lol!

Generally being average energy, slightly under or slightly over is the best. Horrible being at either end of the spectrum.

In the gym, I'm a fcking animal, I tear the place up!  However, at work, THEY have me branded as a lazy fcker, It makes me sick!  These fckers running about all day, "yes sir, no sir" "anything more I can do for you sir" yet not an ounce of oomph outside work, where it matters!

    I'm one bitter fcker

Maybe get on the creatine mate?  Assuming you're not scared of injections?  Make sure you run PCT too.

What sort of energy are we talking about here?  The sort of physical energy, where you literally feel tired and can't keep your eyes open ... or more of a mental / motivation energy and 'get up and go'.

I'm not too bad on the first one but the second one well.  My get up and go has got up and gone and I have no motivation to do anything whatsoever really most of the time.   Hmmmmm.

Maybe if most of our wages covered 'life' then things would be a little different.

The two are interconnected so talking about both.
