How much is possible after only 8 mths.

I know this is a hard question to answer. But, how much is possible after only 8 mths of weight training? I train 3 days a week. I came from distance running, so was lean in build. Don't do any running anymore, achilles injury. I'm still the same weight i was when i started weight training, 12 stone. Should i have built up a bit more weight wise. I do look bigger and i have got stronger. I just haven't put any weight on. Does this sound about right or am i just being impatient.....

    Yell us more ....
    - what does your diet look like?
    - how many calories a day do you eat?
    - how much cardio do you do?
    - how much sleep do you get every night?
    - what does your program look like?
    - use any supplements?

    diet isn't too good as i really struggle to eat large amounts. So i tend to supplement it with whey drinks. My routine is chest /tri. Bench press/ incline press/ dips/ tri pushdowns/ close grip bench.Back/bicep. Wide grip chins/ deadlift/ upright rows/ preacher curls/ bicep curl. Legs/shoulders. Squats/ straight leg deadlift/ calf raise/ shoulder press/ upright row.

    hi mate,try to eat bit more good food and use supps in between meals,
    you dont say what you reps and sets are,if trying to bulk try 5x5 or 4x6
    lots of people like this routine,

    Bro forget whey find yourself a good mrp and try to learn and keep your mind open to everything about eating. A bagel with a good helping of salad and chicken will give you 60g of carbs, 40g of protein and 4g ish of fat. Thats not hard to eat is it? If you get what iam saying its look for dense, good easy to eat food like nuts which will add the extra carbs for the minimal about of eating.
