How to widen your arms?

Hey,

I have been gaining mass my arms, especially my biceps but it isn't at noticable unless i put my arms up and tense. How do i increase the width so my arms look wider from front on.

Also, are their any physical results differences between training 5x5 and 6x4 or maybe 8-3.

Cheers :P

just an effect that comes with training more and more and the size will grow and hence look bigger.

As above, and the leaner you are if you have some mass, they give the illusion of looking bigger!!

Training your triceps a lot will obviously help as well since they are the bigger muscle group.

i think that most of us have had that problem.
have you tried biceps brachialis exercises, such as hammer curls, which will widen the upper arms?

How long have you been training? I would like to look at your routine as a whole, and diet rather than focusing on training.

If I had to pick a single training focus,  Iwould say you should be able to do 12 full rep chins and 20 rep dips

No difference between 5x5 or 6x4. You may find a lesser degree of hypertrophy doing 8 sets of 3, but there are some members here that have built very good physiques yet never going above 3 reps. They've also gotten very strong in the process too.
