I hear hull is where Jeremy Kyle gets a lot of his guests from.

You won't wind me up mate, that's just the kind of thing I expected from a troll such as yourself. back on 'ignore'. lol.

the fact you've wasted 52 years of your life in a city such as hull speaks volumes about you. Explains why your so fvcking bitter and aggy.

Bit harsh!

General troll wisdom mate, it's to be expected. Alas. I'm sure he'll reach maturity one of these days, lol.

Do you know the bonny boat pub? The landlady was doing the DJ'ing at the 2017 culture event. http://m.hulldailymail.co...9937-detail/story.html

It's only a big deal if you make it a big deal.

I do mate, it's in the town centre, near the old market square. Very small pub, but very popular late on with the revellers.
It's a Mansfield pub though, so the beer's sh!te.

I saw a clip of it on the news. Saturday nights look pretty lively in there.

I haven't been in there for a long time, preferring my drinking time now on Saturday afternoon's, but I believe it has a real good atmosphere still.

Ah bless.
Well I wouldn't normally waste my time on you, my niggling little troll...but I don't really understand the connection here? Mike Phelan has indeed been sacked as manager of Hull City. What is has to do with Hull's City of Culture celebrations I don't quite follow there. Could you elaborate further, my friendly little bedroom button warrior? There's a good boy.
Many thanks

on the plus side, looks like they have quite a large and vibrant gay scene and lots of gay bars if you happen to be that way inclined. makes perfect sense why some people dont want to leave, too much fun to be had, lol.

Listen folks, bearing in mind that a couple of members will always find some childish delight in hounding me through every thread, picking up on the slightest thing I say due to their obvious but strange obsession with yours truly (what simple lives they must lead? lol), I have to live with that. They are free to say what they like, however incorrect they are in their assumptions.

I am not being defensive of my home city simply because I live there. On the contrary, there are many bad points about Hull, but there are the same downsides to EVERY major city in the UK (and beyond), are there not? And I agree with many of the comments here.

No lads, all I disagree with (except from the boring old Floydy-bashing of course), is the ignorance some of you bring to your posts which is 99% from those who have never spent any time in Hull. Basing your thoughts on someone's (usually a gutter press reporter's) hear'say isn't too constructive really is it?

I'm happy in Hull and I welcome any of you to PM me if you feel like coming down to enjoy the City of Culture celebrations this year. A pint will be on the bar for you, along with some pleasant discussion I assure you.
