I am looking for a diet check please
I am looking for a diet check please, just a nod to let me know whether I am on the right track or not.
Firstly, my goal is an muscled athletic physique, I am not after a typical BB physique (thankfully as it looks very difficult to achieve!). I would however like to gain a bit of weight as I feel that I am a bit light at the moment at 6ft Tall and 12 Stone.
Training wise I am sorted using a program from the articles section of the board. I do some SS cardio to keep my fitness up too.
Current diet is as follows:
6:20 5 eggs (2 yolks and 5 whites), 50g oats, 15ml Olive oil Scrambled. Coffee. OJ.
9:00 1 protein flapjack (bigfellas recipe). Coffee.
9:00 – 10:30 Nibble on three plain oatcakes.
10:30 200g chicken and rice
1:00 PWO shake – 70g whey, 60g dextrose, three plain oatcakes, bannana
2:00 200g chicken and rice
4:00 90g tinned mackerel in olive oil
6:30 Evening meal, usually meat and veg
9:30 125g Cottage cheese
Also I have a bag of seeds that I snack on through 9 – 5 and will throw an apple in there somewhere too. I have a couple of cups of green tea at night and take a fish oil cap in the morning.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated, I am looking to see if there are any glaring omissions or holes in my plans.
