Re: I am still about if you're missing me ...
Lot of people have come and gone in my time. Some stay around and share the knowledge they have gained with others which is great but I think sadly BB forums in general are quieter. Not sure why but I'm imagining social media groups may have a lot to do with it. UGM which I used to own is practically dead now. I don't even think I can log in now. When I took over the posts when up quite a bit as I got a few superb people on their with knowledge that was priceless and it boosted ratings. I sold the site as I simply didn't have time to do my day job and run it. I'm sure you will agree James that its a pain in the arse at times and UGM was probably only generating about 10% of what MT was back then and that's probably a high figure! Sadly the new owner took over and its basically just a ghost town now. Don't understand the reasoning. Had I known I would have held on to it or sold to someone with fresh ideas and drive.
I wouldn't say forums have had their day but they are quieter. I have only started really posting again in the last 2 weeks as I have been injured for so long and not training that I had no desire to read about what I was missing out on and I suspect there are a lot of people who just do a bit of lifting casually who used to be serious. some with injuries which put them out of the game for a long time like myself. So many factors.
So to summarise
I didn't miss you at all @James :)
