use the glycogn stores to luft weights then do CV at fat burning level to use bodyfat (theoretically)

She won't be able to lift properly if she does the weights beforehand...energy runs out.

Is it just normal slow long cardio?

Fatloss happens with overall diet and cardio (for most).

The cardio doesn't have to be done post workout though for best results

IMHO if the weights are being hit hard and heavy then split up cardio and weights. Definately wouldnt do cardio before hand if you want the most out of your workout.

I find that if I do the two together I am just too tired to do anything and just want to go to sleep. This is not an ideal situation when I have beaks to feed in the nest when I get home.

So she should do her weights and cardio on seperate days?

So go like this mon, wed, fri weights and all other days do cardio - this ok?

She does the same workout as me but does 3x15 on each excercise - this cool?

    Thanks

Looks good but when she gets to 15 reps increase the weight.
I forgot to mention that you still need to do a 5-10 min warm up before weights though. I use the treadmill on leg days and cross trainer on upper body days, something that makes the arms move. Unless I have come from work which means I have cycled there.

If she wanted to do more she could do cardio in the morning and weights in the afternoon. You need to eat properly to do this though otherwise you burn out.

As Kitty says too, its important to have a rest day.
