I need a routine.

How does this look?

Chest, shoulders

off

Back, traps,abs

off

Legs, calves, lower back

off repeat

I have tried various splits but my arms dont seem to be growing... I figure it was cos i was doing an arm day and overtraining them what with doing back and chest and then an arms day...

Any opinions on not doing Direct arm work?

I think i would like to stick to the big compound movements for mass rather than doing isolation exercises.

    why not go to a 2 day split, heres somin Dano posted up in another thread
    Front Squat 3-5x5
    Bench 3-5x5
    Row 3x5

    Deadlift 3-5x5
    Shoulder Press 3x5
    Chins 3x5

    How does this look.......

    Day 1: Bench,DB bench (maybe 5x5)
    off
    Day 3: Chins (5x5), Bent over rows
    off
    Day 5: Squats (5x10), Deadlifts?
    off
    repeat

    with the routine i posted u do it every 4 -5 days, so mon those 3 exercises, then fri the other three,wait another 4 days, start again.
    as for the routine u posted i would do somin like this

    day 1
    deadlifts
    wide grip chins
    hyperextensions(if u do unweighted up to 40 reps if u wish)

    day 2
    dips
    military press
    weighted pushups

    day 3
    Front squats
    SLDL
