UKBFF North west....count me in mike!

Hi all

Been a while since i have updated my old journal, and seeing as its a new year with new goals i may as well start again.

Since placing 6th at the UKBFF British finals last year,i have been mostly cruising in the gym, and quite honestly gotten a tad too fat:(.....although abs are still visible (just)....at around 85kg.

Anywho, the plan is to lean(ish) bulk till around june time (but this depends on how fat i get), and give myself 10 weeks to be ready for the UKBFF Leeds in september, although i reckon i could do it in 8 weeks :)

And seeing as ive just turned 40, think ill jump in with the old boys in the masters category :)

Ill get some current pics uploaded this week and do my utmost to update on a regular basis.

Cheers
JN

If I can regain everything, then get cut in time, yeah.
Not sure if it's inters or OAPs for me - under 80kg either way.
We can jostle and shove each other's elbows on stage and get the crowd going. LMAO.

Im not counting the days mate.....im making every day count

Diet is around 3500 cals a day, mainly eating what i like. KFC, Pizzas , chocolate etc.

As long as im getting stronger, staying leanish, `and adding a little to the scale every couple of weeks im happy.

    So....masters or U80K...

If come show time im right on the limit then its U80K, should see a nice package as i dont have any glaring imbalances.

Any over 80k would be a miracle i reckon, but i would be too small for u90k but could get dwarfed in the masters.

Cracking chest and triceps workout today, feeling strong and motivated.  Weight sitting at 87k with abs just visible.

Shoulders totally pain free as well today for the first time in a long time

Will switch things up next week to somethin like this.

    Shoulders and calves.
    Quads and hams
    Triceps and back
    Biceps an chest.

Gonna concentrate on strength still for the next couple of weeks then deload.

havent updated in a while due to personal stuff going on.....but, somehow ive committed myself to competing at the UKBFF Warrington lol.

Myself and six other members(including mike white from here) from barbarian gym bolton will be competing in various classes at this particular show.

I have opted to do the open class u80k. I feel i wont be competitive due to having lost size and not having time to make condition , but the buzz around the gym is great and winning doesnt seem that important at all.

Plus its bank holiday weekend and a massive piss up will be on the cards afterwards lol

Im following a IF diet and will continue to do so right up to the show. I dont have the want power to eat clean :(

Diet is somethin  like this .

1pm.....2 bacon and eggs barms with brown sauce and a cup of tea. (although today i had a change and a big turkey club melt with a chocolate rice krispy cake)
    4pm approx.....protein shake after training.
    6pm.....KFC/Fish and chips (whatever really)
9pm....usually somethin clean like chicken/steak etc....with some chocolate afterwards.

Tried cardio but im bored already. may try again next week.

Training five days a week..typical bodypart split....around 50 minutes per session.

One thing to note, im using dragon nutritions M-DIEN which im liking (2 tabs a day). had a nice PB with weighted dips today....60kg for 9 good reps....very pleased with that.
