IS THIS ANY GOOD?

hi, bought a few packs of "iceland premium ready cooked roast chicken breasts" earlier, the idea was i could take a few to work with me, are they any good?

    this is exactly what it says on the pack


    PER 100g CONSUMED

    ENERGY 638KJ/152KCAL
    PROTEIN 23.8g
    CARBOHYDRATE 1.4g (of which sugars 0.7g)
    FAT 5.7g (of which saturates 1.6g)
    FIBRE 0.6g
    SODIUM 0.5g
    SALT 1.3g

    PER 100g CONUSMED: 152 CALORIES 5.7g FAT

    quite high in fat - has the skin been removed? you can buy with around 2% fat. also a lot of salt in there.

    IMO it's cheaper and better to buy uncooked skinless chicken breasts, grill them yourself and store and take them to work. that way you know what you're getting.

    i take the skins off myself because i don't like it.
    they where £2 for a packet of 3

    You can buy chicken very lean from ASDA and others for around the same sort of price for 400g. As above buy it uncooked and grill it, or whatever to suit your tastes.

    there is an offer on in netto at the moment - Skinless Chicken Breast Fillets £3.32 per 1kg. thats the cheapest i have ever seen.
