I'm New & Could Do With Advice Please!
New to this forum & site & new-ish to the world of weight training.
I'm hoping to shed more body fat to expose more of a defined/ripped look.
I'm currently doing the P90X workout plan & into my 7th week of it. Since this time, I've noticed a visible difference in size & muscle mass but I'm struggling to shift a bit more body fat.
I'm 5'8, weight 11.2 stone & I'm an athletic build. My body fat is currently 17.7% but I'd like this down to around 8 or 9%
I started out at 10.1 stone but have since gained around a stone in weight but changed this into lean muscle.
I'm happy with my weight but want to drop body fat.
My question is, do I put on more weight to change this into muscle or stick with my weight & concentrate on sculpting the muscle I have??
What I'm hoping to achieve is a defined/ripped/carved look. I'm seeing results but feel the body fat is not going.
I eat well & stay away from all the wrong foods (processed, fatty etc) I have a high Protein based diet & I work out with weights 3 times a week & the rest of the week is Yoga, Plyometrics (jump training), Kenpo. All of these being high CV workouts.
I hope you guys can help me. Sorry for the long post!
