Im a tw@t

Im such an idiot, I tried to put my stud in my ear after a long absence, I forced it in and I broke a thin layer of skin. Now my ears stinging a bit and its red, although the redness is more from the poking around lol. Anything to be worried about, or should it be fine? Better safe than sorry and all that

    Has the ear ring pierced through the ear again and opened the hole?

    I used to take my ear rings out for weeks sometimes then when i put them back in i had bit of blood, its nothing mate dont worry. If you are worried then get some surgical spirit on cotton wool and dab it over the part of the ear, it will sting but cleanse it.

    Should be fine dont worry.

    Cheers BritBB. I hadnt put my ear ring in for about two months. The hole was sealed by a small layer of skin at the back and I just sort of forced the ear ring through the skin. It was a bit "moist" lol but no blood as far as I could tell. Thats put my mind at rest.

    Nag dont worry bout it, i have the top part of ear pierced and that never heals up really, had it out for a month or longer infact and i could just slip the ring through immeadiately when i put it back straight through the hole.

    But the one on the bottom part of my ear sometimes closes slightly if i leave it for weeks, i can always get the stud or ring through it again but it ussually means fidlling a tad.

    Dont worry mate itll be fine.

    Yes it was Y.I.B
    It was my mate that was sitting a few feet away that said;
    "Oh man I dont think you should have done that, that might get infected. Damn that looks sore."
    Didnt exactly inspire confidence lol.

    if your still bit iffy, just swab a bit of antiseptic cream on it. Savlon, diluted detol in water or something along the lines will do.

    You'll be fine, watch for signs of infection.. swelling, redness, colored discharge other then clear yellow or blood, bad odor, fever, swollen lymph node at the base of the ear by the jaw. Lumps and bumps are bad, if you get one, lemme know.

    I have 5 body piercings, and have a lot of pierced friends. If yah wanna know -anything- just ask .

    Edit: You shouldn't be red or swollen or tender after the next 24 hours.... and yer not a tw@t
