I'm back baby!
Just returned on friday morning from our holiday in Egypt! which apparently was good timing, though luckily we weren't staying near where the attacks were anyway.
Have to say it was absolutely loveyl out there. The people were great the hotel was just perfect (great food all day long and a gym that was actually good)!
Went scuba diving, snokelling, windsurfing, desert treking, sailing, camel riding and all that jazz.
Unfortunately on one day, I got what they call Pharoah's Revenge which meant eating NOTHING and basically losing the contests iof my digestive system IN STEREO (from both ends)! but I was having too good a time overall to really care.
Am back on bulking now though! wahoo!
Was shocked when I heard what had happened out there, I mean the locals were so cool and so friendly and they LOVED us English out there.
My girlfriends and I got chatting away to them (even when they WEREN'T trying to sell us something) and once they got to know us, they ended up letting us jump to the front of queues in front others.
The reason being that a certain group, who shall remain nameless but who were out putting their towels on sunloungers at 4.30am every morning, were SO rude to the locals, it was unbelievable, treating them like slaves! Us brits however had a repuation for being polite (and it was evident when walking around the resort) and in reutrn we got preferential treatment! wahoo! Makes you proud to be british!
Anyhoo, security out there was, as far as we saw tighter than Rick waller trying to fit into Kylie's hotpants, so we felt really secure and there seemed to be no worries!
I recommend it!
(P.S. if you're into water activities, the Red sea is the best place. Good wind for surfing and the water is unbelieveably clear and full of life!
