I'm worried because I think the dollar may collapse...

Its economy seems to be getting worse - why aren't they doing something about it? And all they do is continue to print money - they cannot keep on doing that forever, where is it all going to end?

6 feet under mate;). Pointless to worry about stuff you have no real impact on.
Live your life to the fullest and don't worry;)

Well the FED stopped printing money this week if it makes you feel better. Wouldn't worry about the dollar to be honest.

I wouldn't at all be surprised if they decided to re-ignite the QE fire

I think Jim has got it spot on , but the time horizon could be 1-20 years

pretty sure they will fire the printing presses back up when the data isn't good , they didn't even do a real taper as a mystery Belgium buyer stepped in and bought the amount of bonds that the fed proposed not to buy .

The US sits on such a monumental amount of oil and other commodities it could easily pull itself out the mire if it had to. Plus all the markets are firing into the US at the moment and are pretty bullish least in the short run. As I said before eventually we will see a re run as everything is cyclical but for now it will be ok.

Also I would just like to point out that personally I take everything i read in media from HF managers and such like with a pinch of salt because you can bet your money on the fact that they are just using it to manipulate the market for their own goals.

We need to stop outsourcing everything to China. And we do sit on top of a huge oil reserve and are not an OPEC nation. While our economy is $hit right now it will cycle. Every 20-30yrs it goes through the roller-coaster. I am tired of money being spent to fund wars and get nothing in return. If we have to go to war I am all for keeping 10% of your assets per year until the price of the war has been recovered. When it comes down to it voting for the president is a joke! They all promise to not raise taxes, to cut taxes for the working class, and to tax big money while penalizing them for outsourcing jobs to avoid paying taxes. Once in office none of that happens. Now we have Obama care which is more handouts to mother fuc <ers that do not work. If I wasn't a sole custody parent I would move to Finland.
