Improving Leg Muscle!

Ive been training for a few weeeks now, got my diet sorted and gained good weight but its mainly on my upper half.

Ive now got really skinny legs and well developed top half, not a good look really!

Can anyone suggest how to shock my legs into growing so muscle?

My current split is

Monday - Legs & Shoulders
Squats 4x 8-10
SLDL 4x 8-10
Calf Raises 3x 12
Clean & Press 4x 8-10
Seated Military Press 3x 8-10

Wednesday - Back & Biceps
Deadlifts 4x 8-10
Weight Widegrip Chins 4x 8-10
Barbell Rows 4x 8-10
Barbell Curls 3x 8-10

Friday - Chest & Triceps
Bench Press 4x 8-10
Incline DB Press 4x 8-10
Weighted Dips 4x 8-10
Skull Crushers 3x 8-10

I do 30minutes general CV tuesday & rugby training on thursday with Sat & Sun off!

12 compound sets for pecs but 4 sets for quads? If you're gaining well at present then TBH i'd suggest putting more effort into your leg workout. You could even bin the SLDLs as squats and deads alone will promote good growth in the hams. Thrash your legs with squats and your legs must grow.

    agreed
and dont be afraid to squat 2 to 3 times a week, big muscles recover faster ime, get some food in, take your time but aim at big squats and you'll need some new pants.

Would replacing the SLDL with Leg Press help? And doing pyramid squats working up to 1RM instead?

No need for leg press TBH. It's just a poorer substitute for squats. You could try pyramiding and see how it goes. Many bodybuilders i know train legs but as a token effort really. Not saying you do mate. If you have a hard squatting session then as long as everything else is in order then your legs will get bigger.

Trust me dai its good the 10s and 8 are couple reps short of failure and the 6 is to failure. On the 20s imo start light and build i really underestimated these and only this week found the right working weight. Did this sess yest nearly spewd few time and leg ar seriously sore today

I prefer leg press to squat but only from the view that squats play havoc with my back
