Increasing calories on leanish bulk

Hi guys

I've started a leanish bulk again this month, I looking to increase cals and I'm intending to eat an entire 450g neo valley pot 0 fat greek yogurt in the afternoon daily.

The tubs around 400 cals so im undecided if thats too much or maybe using half with something else.

400 cals is quite a big bump in one go... have you been gaining weight on your current diet?

I started from a very lean base, so whilst i've upped the cals since start of the month after 20 days visually its quite hard to tell if theres been any significant weight gain, i look fuller but thats more so due to the increase in food and water i imagine.

i am aiming/hoping to add some where between 1lb muscle and 1lb of fat a month, ill re-look at my intake this weekend and see how much it pushes me into surplus.

    might go quark instead.

This is what you want to effectively "lean bulk" though, 25g of carbs here, 5g fat there, 10g of protein here and there- slow, gradual increases over the space of 1-6 weeks until you start to see an increase in the scales and then either stop when you find the right total of kcal you need or continue until you're happy.

yes ive done a lean bulk before but i've used the term leanish as i want to get some size and hopefully keep the definition. If the fat looks as though its piling on too quickly then i'll reduce the cals and stick in a bit of cardio to solve the problem for a couple of weeks to get me back.

half a tub of the yogurt is about 160 cals, 14g protein, 26 carbs which literally all sugar - so i could go half for 2 weeks and see what happens or go all in for the entire tub lol
