Injuries?

Ive got 2 problems, when i extend my arms for db press, mp press etc i get pain in my left elbow, and when i do these movements my arm starts to shake. My other problem is my left deltoid, im getting a kinda aching pain.
I havent been to the gym for a little over 2 weeks now, and today i went in but the pain is still the same? doesnt feel better at all.

Any ideas on what these could be?

I was out running yesterday and got abuse off some 12 year old girls, so I stopped and offered them out.

lol i know what you mean i sometimes get that, but i never use to get this, and it is really anoying

Its coming from the deltoid, im not sure if its under it or the deltoid itself, but it kinda makes my arm give in while my other arm can still push out more reps

havent done benching for a while mate, only db bench, even then i can feel it when my arm moves down, im thinking it could be over trainined because i didnt add in shoulder press machineas well as already using db mp press, but i cant remember if this was the same time or before i got the pain

Have you taken two weeks off or just two weeks of avoiding training it directly?

You gonna need to get that checked mate, two weeks off and nothing then it needs a closer look, dont assume the worst had a problem with mine at the start of the year and its 100% now.

If it feels like a deep pain in the delt and happens towards the bottom of the negative phases of benching then it sounds like the RC problem i had.

Took two weeks out the gym, rehabbed it at hope with exercises every other day and worked back into training lightly.

Are you doing arnold/behind the neck pressing/lat pulldowns at all?

I didn't feel any discomfort doing behind the neck press but it hurt to bench - could be the same thing as you're putting your rotator muscles in an un-natural position.

bloody balls, how long does it take to recover if it is a rotar cuff injury?

As i said - i took 2 weeks out the gym completely (this coincided with my easter hols from uni quite nicely so i was planning a break anyway) and did various RC exercises every other day to try and strengthen it. Still had some pain when i went back into the gym for a couple of weeks after so was very careful on what i did.

It's absolutely fine now, i would say from onset to total recovery for me was about 6-8 weeks, of which only 2 were spent out of the gym.
