Interest free credit cards

At the minute we have a interest free credit card which expires next month, the balance is not a lot and can be cleared if we wish. But what me and my partner are thinking of doing is putting the rest of our wedding stuff on the card and transferring the balance to a 34 month balance transfer credit card which is interest free for 34 months and has a 3.2% transfer fee. Is it really that simple or am I missing something?

Can't i max the credit card then transfer the balance to another card then pay it off over 34 months, I know there's a way you can play them so to speak and just keep transferring the balance. Any useful tips would be nice.

Thanks

Carl

There aren't any catches as such, so long as you are aware of the transfer cost and are aware of your dates so you don't go beyond the deadline for interest free.....

Also depends if another card issuer will approve you for said card.

    Yes it is that simple.

Assuming you have a good enough credit rating to get accepted and get the allowance you want.

They bank on most people running over the free period (that's why it seems to good to be true). Pay it off in time and you're clear.

Just read all the terms on transfer fees, limits, charges etc..

We would apply for the card first, before we done anything else. We don't have much left to buy but with Christmas round the corner it takes a weight off our shoulders.
