    I'm on AOL broadband for just 18 a month I think.

    Hate having to load the software all the time though.. once you install it your computer is changed forever :(

    i cant get broadband as i live in the 'sticks', also cant have digital TV as i live in a converted listed building...cant get double glazing as the listed building wont allow it...cant get a girlfriend because im ugly...ok i will stop now

    Had a very similar situation here but they finally enabled the local exchange after enough residents stated their demand..

    yes thats the problem, my 'local residents' are more interested in getting discount tractors and cheap hay for their horses over these new fangled computer thingys

    I live in herefordshire, 10 minute walk from nearest bus stop and 30 min drive into town and still managed to get BB in June

    Today signed with Bulldog:

    8MB line for £17.50 per month (increases to £40 after 6 months and includes a phone line)

    Also bumped up my hard drive storage to a total of 500GB for all the downloading I'll be doing

    wish i cud get bulldog but can't get it at my postcode and i live just outside birmingham!

    currently got Telewest 2mb for £35 a month

    everyone seems to be capping their connections now so they look like they are cheap but cost a fortune!
    seen some capped at 15gb a month! then u have 2 pay more if u go over! i download 15gb in 3 days! lol

    Have you spoken to their customer service at any time? ****ing useless, stupid bint I spoke to earlier spelt the road name wrong (wavrly instead of waverley as if someone would call a road wavrly!!!) got the post code wrong and my mobile number too, I couldn't have been any more clear when I was giving the details

    They give me 1mb for that mate, get on to them.

    I use virgin broadband cos it's monthly.....so no annual contract or massive charges if I move or cancel.
