Irreparable Damage?

Hi,

I have a couple of questions regarding pro bodybuilders & steroids.

1. Even though people like Arnie have now stopped taking drugs (I assume) is he likely to have serious internal damage to certain organs that will result in him becoming ill and dying younger than he would normally (I know it's hard to predict what age he would normally live to). Or, is there any chance he is fully repaired, and if so is this not an indication that short term steroid use is relatively safe if done correctly since these pros use far more of the stuff and some take it all year round (maybe all, I don't know enough about pros).

2. What pros are good examples of certain side effects resulting from drugs. I understand the GH gut but what about other things like baldness, is this likely why many of them shave their head or just because they want a skin head and do they just take loads of drugs to counter act the side effects?

i beleive arnie has had major heart surgery a few years back, i dont know for a fact if it was through steroid use but it stands a chance as the heart is a muscle too and that can grow like any other muscle.

the heart muscle will grow without the use of steriods, just through constant training over the years, but im sure aa's dont help and could possibly add to the problem, bit of an ify area, ive read article that say aa's will cause heart probs and ones that say it wont.

At the end of the day arnie is still alive and kicking. If steroids were as bad for you as most anti-steroid campainers would have you believe, Arnie should have been dead 35 years ago!
