Is PB considered 'clean' ?

I know a lot of guys include PB in there home made gainers or MRP shakes, but is PB considered a clean way to increase calories? - I know the natural ones are probably better (dont taste as nice though!) but are the more commercial ones i.e. Sunpat.. supermarket brands.. whole earth etc any worse really?

Depends on ingredients - if 99%+ peanuts, yes, fine, if loads of added oils, etc, no, unclean...

i like it, but some wont. H&B do the meridian 100% peanut butter tubs in 1kg for under £4 a believe

you can add things like coconut and ground almonds to shakes as well for some clean fats and bit of variation

    also flax powder too

    second that.

Meridian is really tasty, very sloppy. tbh, looks like sh1t but i beleive the ingrediants is just 100% blended peanuts

    Bench  - 100kg for 6

    Deadlift - 160kg for 6 (w/ straps)

Just bought some of this... fat went bloody everywhere when I yanked open the lid haha! - Well its bloody nice too, much prefer it to Sunpat or others... and yup 100% peanuts - Suppose thats still no excuse to have mountains of it

Gaz - Yeah I like whole earth but the only ones I can find have added salts + palm oil too
