Is it just me or do you hate nye celebrations

I personally hate all the kissing and hand shaking to celebrate the new year, visiting all the family and friends saying happy new year and shaking hands wishing everyone all the best!

I don't get it, I don't like it!

Or am I just being a miserable c*#t

I go along with it all, shake hands and hugging people that I don't want to hug or shake hands with.

So I do participate I'm too nice to tell them to F off and not to touch me

But you still have to deal with people the next day and pretend to be all merry about it and excited

Always tried to vary what I do every year. I don't overly hate it but it doesn't live up to any hype, hence why my expectations are the same as any night out.

Went to XOYO last year in central. Spent a small fortune on a hangover the size of a rhino. Was a decent night however the DJ missed midnight by 10 minutes. Classic.

All nye have been a let down except a mates house party. There was about 10 of us, I knew about 3 people, we all bought drinks, some substances and got f'ed up. People in the flats around us joined in. Was a great night.

Any form of club night are bloody ****e. I just can't be a55ed anymore with the nye parties. At home, chuck a movie, watch the London foreworks on telly.

I go to bed before the clock hits 12, I turn the lights off and pray no one comes to my door and asks to come in.

Used to when I went to packed clubs for it. Not being able to move and having to queue for half an hr at the bar is not my idea of fun so for ages I didn't bother with Nye. My favourite bar these days though has a more relaxed approach and new years there is great craic
