Is it possible?

Can you build muscle and gain weight with a normal diet and just by lifting????????????? May be a daft question but i had to ask

    you will have to define normal but if you have never trained befor you will add some muscle regardless of how bad your diet

    well i eat things like fish, pasta, sandwiches, have two meals a day, with snacks i.e crisps, chocolate and i am quite new yes

    post ur full diet up in the diet forum for comments and people will be able to help you structure a decent diet

    ideally u need to eat more regular than two meals a day try aimming for 6 small meals with health snacks in between, cutt the chocolate and crap and ur on ur way

    the problem is that i dont have a regular diet, i eat what my mum puts on the table, but im gunna make myself 6 small meals a day, eggs, cheese, that kind of thing

    ^^^^^^ like i mentioned above post ur diet in the appropreate forum and have others comment on it its the best way to go abt it.

    your doing the right thing making your own meals thats a good start

    To answer your initial question - yes. Well atleast to begin with, I experienced good gains with a rubbish diet initially but then my gains slowed right up and I had to get my diet in check!
