Ive had an idea...... is it a good one??

Basically I do:

Chest and tri's - mon
Back and bi's - tues
**WEDNESDAY REST - Taking the same amount of protein as training days, with the idea being that my muscles will be fully recovered from the mon/tue sessions.**

Then for the last 2 days do legs and abs then shoulders and traps. and rest weekend

Does the reason behind this wed rest day seem logical??

    yes its a simple 4 day split and its a good way to set it out so you have a rest day half way through the week. also eat well on the weekend

    once your muscles tightness and soreness her gone away after training days does this mean your muscles are fully repaired?

    no mate...soreness has nothing to do with recovery. you can be in the recovery process and never even feal a sore muscle.
