I want to see that, supposedly his movie called "JCVD" was a really good one, he plays himself as a down-and-out actor, I want to see it

Yeah seems a good guy. I found it a little bit depressing when was doing that film in Russia, this is a guy who turned down a role in The Expendables.

Why did he turn the Expendables  down, does anyone know ?
Ok so the film was not quite as good as hoped but surely that would be a good money maker and a block buster film for him to be in again, potential sequels etc..

A quote from him below. Doesn't really make sense when you see he took that Russian film without apparently knowing anything about it.

“Stallone gave me a part in his next movie,” he [Van Damme] told us. “But I ask him about the subject, about the story.”
“He said, ‘You’re gonna make lots of money.’ I don’t want to hear that, I want to hear what was my character. He was unable to tell what it’s going to be.”
“[Stallone said:] ‘You know, uh, well, the fighting will be good.’ [So I said:] ‘Sly, what is my character?’ So I didn’t do the movie.”

Good episode this week. Just announced his upcoming fight and starting training, interesting to see how he shapes up from here on in. He seems a very humble guy, if a little bonkers.

Seems to have a lot of time for the fans and general public, maybe not so at the time of his coke mayhem.
A certain MT pal who will remain nameless has had an evening in his company and at that time was.a incoherent jibber jabbering plumb but who hasnt messed up in life,if you havent your not playing the game hard enough.

Reading between the lines it looked to me as if gladys has excepted his wandering ways ,im sure he is allowed to play away and from the clips the hot young things stil want a slice of him.

But if this fight goes ahead and its real not a set up he will get badly damaged his semi contact wako/tkd style wont hold up to some muay thai .
It will be the end of his fighting ,his films and whats left of his reputation.

Like far too many ive seen a bit of harmless ,clean drug coke just leaves a fractured weakened person.
E can mess you up and leave memory issues but coke really does leave people in a state of a warped personality,if you already have underlying issues then your doomed

JCVD seems a nice guy but still under some dellusion in comparission to stallone et al he lacks shrewdness and control,he looses the fight i think his own ego is too fragile too take it

His training for the fight will be funny a lot of the training set up in blood sport, kickboxer the ropes ,the dog is taken from his trainer who actually does a lot of odd stuff .

Another thing i find of intrest is gladys and him,its a reflection of a lot of things you see in life, blokes with issues or an inability to cope with life ,who often play away then you meet the other half who are far from weak, brainless bimbos, but strong ,clever women but gir some reason stay with them regradless.

Just imho of course everyone see's thing in a different way but i think we may well see JCVD unravel before our eyes,he already seems battered internally be his epic ruining of his own career can he take another fall, its not looking good

Everyone has been in shape, but not everyone is IN shape, its about where your going not where you have been.
