Good work mate. If your doings more reps than planned on the final set, then no harm in going up in weight I'd say.

 
1RM's @ BW 90kg:
Squat - 175kg / Bench - 125kg / Deadlift - 210kg / Strict OHP - 85kg

Lots of volume going on in here.
Those paused bench presses looked nice and easy. I enjoy throwing in that movement from time to time, really helps with getting over sticking points.

I like the look of your gym as well. Looks like you have some decent equipment in there.

Cheers dude. Yep volume had def increased on this programme. Had never done the paused presses before - brilliant movement and can feel real benefit.
I wish on the gym - its just a simple fitness first but has a couple of power racks and a few oly bars so could be worse

Deads felt quite comfortable today and seemed to move well. Weight feels comfy still - Ox when do you want to to start belting up?
Rows moving well although lpower back was slightly tight - think need a video next week to check form. Squats were easiest they have felt for a while. Lots of power when driving up. Pulldowns have more there so weight moves forward next week. Hammy curl was a killer - was comical walking after. Just jellified. Next week aim for 3 sets of 20 at 45kg.
 
I am absolutely chomping at the bit for competition. Cannot wait. Sessions are in a great place at the moment.

That's what id prefer tbh but wanted to sound you out. Week 8 onwards likely but will see as the week progress. OIts a great plan thanks mate - no brainer decision and paying off big time

Bloody fun session today and everything moved well. Couple diff camera angles for the bench work today - 1st set line seemed slightly off but otherwise all good. 2nd set seemed more comfortable. Floor press getting stronger every week - will move to 85's next week with a poss 90 if feel strong enough, main goal is 8 reps per set. Tris blasted after that and big burn/pump finishing off.
 
With straps am tucking the thumb band into wraps now as they cant be over thumb on comp day. Separate note - my deadlift slippers are falling apart so will need to get a new pair soonish likely before comp.

Legs heavy/tired and feeling 'flat' today. Had 1 pint of Guinness & couple greggs sausage rolls in afternoon - this could of been a cause as havent drunk mid week since December. Food was usual around that so no drop in calories. Could be tiredness/fatigue - wont make excuses for just will rule out a midweek pint for rest of this plan and crack on.
Was not at my most motivatied/raring to go gym but work needs to be done

Not particularly happy with squats today - don't think any of the reps hit an acceptable depth. Weight is fine and could of hit extra reps/sets but upon review of vid depth was not good. Next week will be better. Keeping up the rolling 10 mins per day so and that helps so hoping just a one off. Deads started slow but started clicking well on 3rd set and getting good speed. Leg press was brutal today - the burn in my quads - Jesus Christ. Good weight to stick at now for next week and aim for 20 reps for 3rd set. Supersetted leg ext and pulldown - legs had gone so dropped weight for ext.
 
Will catch up journals later on as manic busy at work.

Being busy at work and then other real life stuff will always have an impact on your training, probably nothing to do with 1 pint of that fine Irish nectar!!
 
I'd be working on getting that depth dialled right in for every lift now mate, you're just weeks away from competing.

One of those days bud, can't all be corkers. Can't see depth on the vid but yes make sure you are going under each time of you will be ingraining a depth that will fail you in comp.
 
Chuck a little extra food in the mix tonight and mate and try get an early night, this cold weather doesn't help I find.

Put a band across the pins at the right height and make sure your bum touches it every time!

1 pint shouldn't affect me but wont risk it again mid-week. Yep 2 weeks in a row for reps where depth not in so not good enough. Will be working on this next week.

Sadly not but wish they were. I think next week as will get one of the OT's to cue me for depth so I know im hitting or below depth.
Yeh had my go to powerup meal tonight - steak, spinach, jacket potato (butter, sour cream & cheese), nice glass of OJ to top up. Good feed up and feel better for thee xtra fats I added.
No chance of an early night but sleep is solid enough - around the little one. Cheers mate

Yeh not wanting to bomb out at all. The bands a good idea - will try that but will still rope in someone to call depth when hit reps as well. Not happy 2 weeks in a row depth has gone.
