Much better with the 60kg dude. Def under. You can see your hams squeezing into your calves. You’re a very forward leaning squatter, very hip hingy. Usually the guys that squat like that have a very low bar set up but the Stance is wider to accommodate. I know you don’t want to adjust Stance but I’d try it even if it’s just a couple toes wider. Have a look at Norton squats.

Another good tip is to put a weight on your back and just sit in the hole for a a long as you can. I used to take my 40kg sandbag and sit in the hole while watching TV lol.. But it works

At this stage that's as low as I can go. But I know how the squat needs to feel with the hammys/calves squeezing into each other. Im pretty much dedicating todays session to squats so will look a slightly wider stance - will not be changing anything to radical though but slightly wider stance fine to throw in today. Will check out Norton squats cheers

Don't be disheartened and don't let this put you off... doing the comp will give you access to so much feedback and advice to take away that no matter what happens you will come out of it better, and the experience moving on will be invaluable.
 
The good news is that you can hit it with a light weight so you essentially have the mobility, now it's about getting the strength within that range and getting adapted to that range 


Only natural to feel disheartened but doesn't put me off. My ego is not so big that I assume every lift I do is perfect - constructive criticism is always welcome as keeps lifts I check. Im still gunning for comp and just have to get over this blip lower the weight and see where im at. Cant wait for the experience still for comp.

Time to update your max squat in your signature to 60kg! Does this mean I'm winning again? lol
 
Only joking bud, tbh I don't think you're going to lose much on your squat, its only a matter of going that little bit lower. The strength is already there, the mobility is already there, its just about getting your setup right to make sure you hit that depth every time without having to think about it. This build up to the comp should see you right if you listen to Mr Ox.

Ill get it back up its just refining technique to make sure im hitting depth. Done a 140 in training today so could be worse but need to keep working on it until it becomes a natural movement.

Today was all about squsts - rested as long as I needed between sets so all the usual accessory stuff bar the banded deads were dropped from this sessions. Every rep to depth and im using the feeling of hamstrings and calves squeezing into each other so I know the point to start driving up.
 
Did notice today that reps felt a lot more quad focused and less lower back/half  goo dmorning reps in. Could change with higher weight but was more leg drive. This is now week 1 of re-training squats and there is not much time till comp so not expecting miracles but I know what I can hit today beltless so can work off that.

Considering that it looked in with one of the worst camera angles ever then I reckon you are right and that was nicely in. This is a strong positive after the other day.

I thought angle was lm actually - i basically had phone on floor so i could get a low angle to see depth. Yes good posutive after yest. Know what to build off now.

Busy busy gym today - had to slingshot bench before dead press, no big deal but do prefer the order of lifts I have set out ready. Banged of a session though.

The bench work was tough today but at same time awesome. Moved slingshot to 95 today and managed 3 sets at required rep range of 8. Will leave same weight next week as last rep a a grinder and want to build speed - also next week will hopefully dead bench first of all so that could take it out of me. Dead bench was fatigued from the slingshot - 9 reps at 95 was decent but was not getting the quick drive I wanted. So last couple reps fighting/grinding. Happy with 9 reps tho - was sensible and didn't push weight to 95 like planned as would of bombed out. Tri's blasted after the accessory work.
 
Physically ive never felt better, stronger or looked better then when ive been on this plan - stricter diet is helping as well. Plan is great! All credit to Ox or laying it out.
 
Couple days rest now and back on it Monday.

Cheers mate although managed 11 week before at 90kg but that was fresher as hadnt slingshotted before. Hope so mate - 110kg is next aim and hope can push more.

Im working hard mate so fingers crossed it crosses over to playform. Bery much enjoying this as well which helps!

Thanks mate its hard work but im enjoying this plan so doesnt feel like ‘hard work’ at same tome which helps. The hardest thing actually is forcing myself to foam roll/stretch every night.

About 50-55 mins roughly.
