Recovering from a dodgy stomache, a bench session is the wiser choice.

Mixed bag today - not feeling like im firing on all cylinders still. Another weight/rep PB but I expected that so just something to tick off. 4th set form was just 'off' and could tell I was pushing more off my right leg for first couple reps, corrected this for last couple reps but couldn't grind the 5th out. Last set mentally just didn't have the will to grind our a 5th so threw the towel and chalked up 4 scruffy reps. Annoying as could of ground it out just willpower wasn't there today. Still progress on last week so could be worse and don't realty want to lay out too many excuses just one of those sessions. Next week will be 145kg 4x4.
Rest of sesh done what I could although weights were not as great as energy just shot and quads were jelly like for a while after squats.

Bit of a rough couple days family wise - granddad has come home from hospice for his final few days and nan is back in hospital. Not the best time there but thank god gym is a relief and an hour to switch off!

100% fit now and all lingering stomach/sickyness has gone now so can focus on smashing training and getting squat & deadlift up.

16 x 15      +    9 x 10
16 x 15      +    9 x 10

No structured plan for session apart from mainly should work - wanted to see how far I could push Military Press without any proper plan. Not to bad press but def room for improvement technique which will move weight forwards - strict press PB was 60 and haven't push pressed for a good year so will use 75 as PB going forwards. Powercleans - removed the press after as want to focus on improving technique hence lighter weight as well. Video below - better then last week but still basically muscling it up and not popping the hips or being explosive enough although back position at start was definitely better. Lots of practise needed but will get better. Friend of mine suggested a session for just the hip pop to get the hang of that as strength wise there when need to progress. Rest of session mainly about reps and not weight - that will follow but wanted a good sweat/higher reppage session. Fun little ender with KB swings into sandbag slam. Could really feel abs getting a nice squeeze.

Shorter shorts on for your viewing pleasure...

Little more emphasis in getting under the bar rather than just getting the bar up to you
